I appreciate the emails I've received asking about when I'll blog next or giving suggestions for topics. I have a few pending entries, I've just been wayyyyyy too busy over the past couple of months. I appreciate all the messages I receive and will absolutely respond to every one of you as quickly as possible, so if you don't receive a prompt response - be patient!

I recently cleared up a very large project and I have another deal in the works that will clear up some more time (more details on this later).

Just a quick announcement that we have launched another site in the AlternativeNicheNetwork, CosplayWar.com. Here is the basic description of the site:

"Cosplay War is a website where people can upload pictures of their favorite cosplayers, which others can vote on. Two cosplayers are chosen at random and put against each other. The winner is chosen and then two more are drawn. The selections will continue as long as the user enjoys, meanwhile aggregating and ranking the cosplayers based on data from all users. Search and browse photos of all the costumes or upload your own!"

So, if you're interested, please visit the website and cast your vote for your favorite cosplayers!

Mikomicon is next weekend at CSUN, in Northridge, California. It is an anime convention that is in its second year. Adrianne and I will be running a booth for a few of our websites.

While we still haven't finalized everything that we'll have there, we will have a few freebies to give away to everyone, as well as a few raffles for larger prizes. I believe it will be in the convention program as AnimeDates.com, but we'll have giveaways for AnimeConPics.com, WiimindMe.com, CosplayWar.com (coming soon), as well as a few giveaways from Demand Media.

We invite anyone in the area to come down and say hi! We will be setup in the Dealer's Room at Tables 3-5, or roaming around taking pictures of cosplayers!

AdamWolkov.com has been live for almost two years, but there has never been much content on it. While I didn't have much time to spend on a redesign, I knew that I wanted to include a blog where I could write about my life, my family, my travels, my pets, my projects and anything else that comes to mind. I will also be using this blog as an aggregate by reprinting content that I post on other websites.
